Hey, I’m Malana.
I started this Substack in early 2023 as a way to share truth while working through a smear campaign and personal emergency, as well as to defend my spiritual teacher, Liana Shanti, against defamation.
It all started in early 2020 when:
I began deepening my faith, turned to Jesus, found Liana - a teacher of Jesus’ true teachings - and:
Eventually quit my 10-year weed addiction and got totally sober
Healed my body, including a chronic pain disorder- a manifestation of trauma
Faced my childhood sexual abuse
Estranged myself from my abusers, which included my father and mother
Ended a toxic marriage (abused children often end up in abusive relationships as adults)
Changed my name as part of my spiritual path
Endured a smear campaign
and more…
Followed by booking a one-way ticket to Hawaii for my safety.
If it sounds like a lot in a short period of time, it’s because it most definitely was.
But then… finally… in the summer of 2024:
There was peace.
I’m writing from that place now.
And I’m keeping this Substack alive to share what calls to me.
And also for Liana.
So I can continue sharing how much her work has changed me as a person and my whole life for the better.
